Up to 90% reduction in Greenhouse emissions
significantly better for the environment than regular diesel or biodiesel
Excellent cold-weather performance
higher cetane number (up to 90) and low cloud point (-32OC) provides better starting performance, clean combustion and less chance of waxing in extreme temperatures
GC Renewable Diesel
GC Renewable diesel also known as hydrotreated vegetable oil or HVO, is a premium quality second-generation renewable diesel alternative made from renewable, sustainable raw materials. Our renewable diesel fuel is available for delivery to you.
HVO is a drop-in alternative to fossil diesel, meeting EN 15940 standards and Fuel Quality Directive 2009/30/EC Annex II. There is no need to modify existing infrastructure – you simply need to order a supply of HVO diesel.
High flashpoint
improved safety, storage and handling compared to regular diesel
Drop-in fuel
Meets EN15940 standard for paraffinic fuels and Fuel Quality Directive 2009/30/EC Annex II. A wide range of OEM approvals means it can often be used without needing engine and machinery modification

Features and Benefits
Feature | Benefit |
100% hydrocarbon renewable fuel | Virtually identical chemically and physically to petroleum diesel yet delivers enhanced emission, performance and sustainability benefits of biofuel. |
Easy to use | Can be used in existing diesel engines without modification in concentrations of up to 100% and requires no changes to shipping, handling and storing practices. |
Easy blending with petroleum diesel or biodiesel | Can be blended at varying concentrations based on economics or other factors. Blends with biodiesel to create a 100% renewable, low-emission, high-performance fuel. |
Increased Cetane | Higher Cetane indicates quicker and more complete ignition of the fuel, which improves efficiency, reduces emissions and allows for easier starting and smoother running. |
Lower carbon intensity score | Because renewable diesel can be produced from a wide array of organic feedstocks, its lower carbon intensity score can help meet regulatory requirements. |
Reduced emissions | Compared to ULSD, renewable diesel reduces total hydrocarbons by more than 10 percent, particulate matter by nearly 40 percent, carbon monoxide by 25 percent and nitrogen oxides by 15 percent.* |
